Holistic Healthfest Proceeds

All proceeds benefit Vernon Youth Services

The Vernon Youth Services Bureau offers a variety of direct service programs for Vernon youth.

Proceeds from the 2011 Holistic Healthfest supported our Summer Youth Employment program that provides job opportunities to income eligible youth.

Participants in this program learn employment skills including: resume writing, interviewing, appropriate dress, work ethic and attitudes. The employment covers a six week period, 20 hours/week.

Proceeds were also be utilized to provide scholarships to the YSB after school and summer programs and purchase school supplies and clothing supplies on an as needed basis.
