Our fourth Healthfest is in the planning stages as we invite area practitioners, artists and vendors to join us and participate in the fair. Our 2007 Healthfest was a big success with 700 visitors plus well over a 100 exhibitors and speakers. Holistic practitioners and vendors were busy all day with a steady flow of visitors from opening through the closing drum circle. Our 2009 event will be similar with about 70 tables of practitioners, vendors and artists plus 24 hourly workshops and demonstrations. Our purpose is to educate the public about the healthy options available to them.
The Fair Experience
Exhibitors: In the exhibit areas will be about 70 tables where the public can meet area practitioners, ask questions and pick up literature. Areas represented will include naturopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, energy healing, hypnotherapy, natural childbirth services, woman's health, pet therapy, biofeedback, spas, life coaching and herbs. In a quieter area of the gym a massage or an energy treatment can be experienced. There will also be vendors selling holistic health books, natural cleaning products, handcrafted dolls, gems and minerals, herbal products and teas.
Workshops: There will be 24 hourly workshops and demonstrations in four classrooms on a wide range of topics including natural childbirth, past life therapy, anti-aging, breathwork energy healing, weight management and nutrition.
For Exhibitors & Speakers
If you are interested in being an exhibitor or a speaker we are currently taking applications. The initial due date is January 16. Based on experience our workshop and demonstration spots will probably close at that time and there is a good possibility the booths may be sold out as well. To avoid disappointment please have your information in by that date. The website is set up at this time for participants. In February it will be expanded and shift to information targeting attendees. Information on workshops and exhibitors will be added with pictures and links to your websites. There will be two levels of Sponsorship this year, Gold at $500 and Silver at $250, with a maximum of four Sponsors at each level. See the Sponsor page for features if you think you might be interested.
